This week, I felt like I couldn’t see the forest for the trees.
In other words, I had so many things on my mind that I couldn’t quite figure out where to start.
Which brings me to today’s post. I have no idea what topic to write about. And I have so much that I should have accomplished this week that I really didn’t get anything done.
A few tasks are hanging around half-completed. Others never got started. And I’m sure I’ve completely forgotten a few items because I didn’t write them down.
I like to spend a little time on Fridays reflecting on what I accomplished or what I still need to do. This week, I don’t really have a sense that anything was settled. And I’m not 100% certain what tasks absolutely must be completed and which can be postponed or even ignored. That uncertainty is a feeling that I intensely dislike.
And perhaps that’s the lesson for me this week. I got bupkis done this week, and that’s just the way it goes sometimes.
I’ll close this post on that note. I still need to write a draft of my class assignment, and I haven’t a clue what to write.
